The work described on this page is a spiritual and energetic complement to the existing care that families receive from physicians, behavioral specialists, occupational therapists, educational supports, and other licensed clinicians. Families are encouraged to continue working closely with their medical team.
What Families Tend to Be Seeking
The families who reach out to Healing Elaine® regarding autism in the household are usually not looking for a cure. They are typically looking for additional sight: a way to understand the energetic and spiritual ecosystem their child is embedded in, and a practitioner who can offer accompaniment for the parents through what is often years of demanding caregiving. Many parents in this situation have been bouncing between specialists for years and have found that important layers of their family’s experience are not being addressed by any of the available professional supports.
For highly sensitive families, particularly those with a strong Christian or Catholic faith life, working with a practitioner who shares that framework can provide a kind of context that is otherwise difficult to find.
How Healing Elaine® Approaches This Work
Elaine is an Ordained Minister, a Catholic medical intuitive, and the founder of TEM® (The Energy Mavericks®) and PE® (Pediatric Energy®). Her work with families is conducted in the name of The Holy Spirit, within a robust Catholic Christian framework, and she has consulted extensively with priests and pastors over more than fifteen years of practice.
Within the PE® methodology, the focus of work with families navigating autism is on the spiritual ecosystem the child is embedded in, not on the child as a problem to be solved. This typically includes discernment about generational patterns alive in the family lineage; discernment about the spiritual climate of the home; recognition of the highly sensitive temperament many children on the spectrum present with; and accompaniment for the parents, who often carry significant spiritual and physical exhaustion.
The work is conducted alongside, not in place of, the medical, behavioral, and educational supports a family already has in place.
Who This Work Tends to Serve
Families who find this work helpful typically share several characteristics. They are usually already engaged with appropriate medical and developmental specialists for their child. They are practicing Christians, returning to the faith, or open to a Catholic framework for the work. They are looking for a complementary layer of support that addresses the spiritual and energetic dimensions of their family life. They are seeking accompaniment, not promises.
Working With Healing Elaine®
Sessions are available remotely (the majority of Elaine’s client base is now remote) and in person when she is traveling for pop-up events.
