What Biblical Healers Are

The healing tradition in The Holy Bible is continuous and well documented. Throughout the Gospels, Jesus heals the sick by the laying on of hands, by spoken word, and by the act of forgiveness. He commissions His apostles to do the same. The early Christian community continued this practice. The charism of healing, named explicitly in 1 Corinthians 12, is identified as one of several spiritual gifts given by The Holy Spirit at His own discretion, to specific individuals, for the building up of the body of Christ.

In the Catholic Church, this tradition has been maintained without interruption for two thousand years, through the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, through the lives and miracles of the saints (including modern figures such as St. Padre Pio), and through individuals serving in lay healing ministries under the guidance of priests and pastors. In other Christian denominations the tradition has been carried in various forms, from Pentecostal healing services to more contemplative practices.

The term biblical healers is sometimes used in modern search to distinguish practitioners who work explicitly within Christian scriptural tradition from those operating in wellness or New Age contexts without theological anchoring.

How Healing Elaine® Works Within This Tradition

Elaine is an Ordained Minister, a Catholic medical intuitive, and the founder of TEM® (The Energy Mavericks®). Her work is conducted in the name of The Holy Spirit, within the Catholic Christian tradition, and she has consulted extensively with priests and pastors on her methodology over more than fifteen years of practice.

Sessions with Healing Elaine® integrate the laying on of hands, prayer, medical intuitive examination, energetic clearing, and blessing, all conducted within a framework that takes seriously the biblical understanding of healing as the work of God through the practitioner. The phrase “Bridging the Gap Between Medical & Spiritual®” reflects the explicit position that genuine healing work belongs inside a robust Christian life, not in containers that lack theological grounding.

Distinguishing Biblical Healing From Other Practices

The question of how to tell genuine biblical healing from other practices is one that comes up frequently among clients. Several markers tend to be helpful. Biblical healing points clients toward God rather than toward the practitioner. It is conducted within the framework of scripture and Christian tradition. It does not require the client to surrender their discernment to entities or practices outside the Trinity. It does not promise outcomes, recognizing that the healing belongs to God.

Practitioners who work outside this framework may produce real experiences for their clients, but the framework matters for the long-term spiritual welfare of both the practitioner and the client. Healing Elaine®’s methodology is committed to working within the protections of the Catholic Christian tradition.

Who This Work Tends to Serve

Clients who seek out biblical healing with Healing Elaine® typically share several characteristics. They are either practicing Christians, returning to the faith, or recognizing that their previous spiritual exploration has lacked an adequate framework. They are highly sensitive and intuitive, often from childhood. They are looking for a practitioner whose work is anchored in scripture and Christian tradition, not in generic wellness modalities.
