Who we surround ourselves with and confide in matters. Their consciousness will alter whatever you share with them as you open a door for both their angels and demons to enter

As you reflect on people places and things in your life that you confided about in another person, how did those things change after doing so? Some people will bring you gifts and only enhance what is, whilst others will wittingly or unwittingly bring you their demons and damage what is - often by their consciousness and unconscious baggage alone

The best course of action, unless it is someone you want to emulate inside and out, is to contain what matters to you - else you're sharing it at the level of consciousness within another person and it *will* change to match that (it's physics)

Do not let psychopaths in the church ruin your faith - faith is between you and God only. People are "spiritual not religious" mostly because of the ordinary and awful people who've ruined the message. But if you really look at the message and are an honest person, you will find your soul already embodies religion it's your mind that has been jaded by the enemy. We live in cycles of desolation and consolation. The spiritually ignorant or immature will attribute every cycle to something a person has done that is either "good" or "bad" to prompt said cycle. However God can insert oppression into a person's life at any time for any reason he chooses. While pertinent to understand the legalities between God and Satan and to know which doors you've opened and need to close, it is similarly crucial to understand general oppression. Information is not to be confused with experience however, and many young people - priests included - fall into the trap of conflating information with knowledge and information and knowledge with wisdom; wisdom comes only by living it personally and passing through the eye of the needle. When choosing a spiritual director or counselor no matter who they are, choose the one with experience over intellect always.

I'd just left Miami where I was surrounded by "healing" centers but that didn't feel like the right path. I'd started Northeastern University as a psych major and am a realist. I wanted to be a life coach after dropping psych due to the confines and the fact that therapists are largely mentally insane

Growing up in the church but waning in attendance after my confirmation at 15, God and the unseen were a natural part of my life and I so much wanted to bridge spirit and psychology but not in a corrupt controlled fake fashion
